This Refund & Return Policy ("Policy") explains the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds are accepted, the procedures Customers must follow, and the rights available to Customers under applicable law.
By completing a purchase on our website at https://guerillajewelry.com/ (the "Site"), you agree to the terms of this Policy. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service, which govern your overall use of the Site.

1. STANDARD RETURN WINDOW
1.1 Eligibility Period
Customers may request a return or exchange within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of confirmed delivery of the Product. The delivery date is determined by the tracking information provided by the shipping carrier. Requests submitted after the thirty (30) day window will not be accepted under this Policy, except where required by applicable mandatory consumer protection law.
1.2 How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return or exchange, Customers must contact the Company by email at hello@guerillajewelry.com within the thirty (30) day return window. The email must include:
• Full name and email address used at the time of purchase.
• Order number.
• Item(s) to be returned or exchanged.
• Reason for the return or exchange request.
• Clear photographs of the Product in its current condition (required for all returns).
The Company will respond to all return requests within three (3) to five (5) business days of receipt. Return requests submitted without the required information may experience delays in processing.
1.3 Return Authorization
No Product may be returned without prior written authorization from the Company. Unauthorized returns — items shipped back without a confirmed Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") — will not be processed and will not be eligible for a refund. The Company reserves the right to refuse delivery of unauthorized returns.
2. CONDITIONS FOR RETURN ACCEPTANCE
2.1 Acceptable Condition
To be eligible for a return or exchange, Products must meet all of the following conditions at the time of return:
• The Product must be in its original, unworn, and undamaged condition.
• The Product must be free from signs of wear, scratches, alterations, resizing, repairs, or modifications not performed by the Company.
• The Product must be accompanied by all original packaging, including the jewelry box, dust bag, certificate of authenticity (where applicable), and any included documentation.
• The Product must not have been exposed to chemicals, cleaning agents, perfumes, or other substances that could alter its appearance or composition.
• Engraved, personalized, or custom-made items are not eligible for return unless the Product is defective (see Section 4).
2.2 Final Sale Items
Certain items are designated as final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances, except where the Product is confirmed to be defective. Final sale items include:
• Items purchased during flash sales or limited-time promotional events where the final sale designation was clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.
• Gift cards and store credit vouchers.
• Items that have been resized, engraved, or otherwise customized at the Customer's request.
2.3 Hygiene and Safety
For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings and piercing jewelry that have been worn or removed from their original sealed packaging are not eligible for return. This restriction does not apply to items that are unused and returned in their original sealed state.
3. EXCHANGE PROCEDURE
3.1 Eligibility for Exchange
Customers may request an exchange for a different size, metal type, or alternative product of equal or greater value within the thirty (30) day return window, subject to the conditions set out in Section 2. Exchanges are subject to product availability at the time the exchange is processed.
3.2 Exchange for Items of Greater Value
If the replacement item has a higher retail value than the returned item, the Customer will be required to pay the price difference before the exchange order is dispatched. Payment for the difference must be completed using a payment method accepted on the Site.
3.3 Exchange for Items of Lower Value
If the replacement item has a lower retail value than the returned item, the Company will issue store credit for the remaining balance. Store credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and expires twelve (12) months from the date of issuance.
3.4 Exchange Processing Time
Once the returned Product is received and inspected by the Company, the exchange order will be processed within five (5) to seven (7) business days. Delivery of the replacement item is subject to standard shipping timelines as described in the Shipping Policy.
4. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, AND INCORRECT PRODUCTS
4.1 Reporting Defects
If you receive a Product that is defective, damaged during transit, or materially different from what was ordered, you must notify the Company within seven (7) calendar days of confirmed delivery by emailing guerillachoice@gmail.com. Your notification must include:
• Your order number and full name.
• A detailed description of the defect or damage.
• Clear photographs of the defective or damaged Product, including the packaging if damage occurred during transit.
4.2 Company Remedies for Defective Products
Upon confirmation of a manufacturing defect, transit damage, or fulfillment error, the Company will, at its sole discretion, offer one of the following remedies:
• Replacement of the Product with an identical or equivalent item at no additional cost to the Customer.
• Full refund of the purchase price to the original payment method.
• Store credit to the full value of the Product.
The Company will cover all return shipping costs for confirmed defective or incorrectly fulfilled items. Return shipping instructions will be provided upon confirmation of the defect claim.
4.3 Lifetime Warranty Claims
Manufacturing defects discovered after the thirty (30) day standard return window may be eligible for a remedy under the Company's Lifetime Warranty Policy. Lifetime Warranty claims are governed by a separate policy published on the Site. Customers are encouraged to review the Lifetime Warranty Policy for eligibility criteria and claim procedures.
4.4 Transit Damage
If a Product is visibly damaged upon delivery, Customers are advised to document the damage immediately by photographing the outer packaging and the item before further handling. Damage resulting from improper packaging by the shipping carrier may also be eligible for a claim through the carrier's insurance, which the Company will assist with upon request.
5. RETURN SHIPPING
5.1 Customer Responsibility
Unless the return is due to a confirmed defect, fulfillment error, or transit damage (as described in Section 4), the Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. The Company does not provide prepaid return shipping labels for standard returns or exchanges initiated at the Customer's discretion.
5.2 Shipping Method Requirements
All returned Products must be shipped using a tracked and insured shipping method. The Company strongly recommends using a reputable international courier service with full tracking capability and adequate insurance coverage for the value of the item. The Company will not be responsible for returned items lost or damaged in transit where the Customer has not used a tracked and insured method.
5.3 Customs and Import Fees on Returns
International Customers returning Products from outside the United States are responsible for ensuring that return shipments comply with all applicable customs regulations. Any customs duties, import fees, or taxes imposed on returned items by US customs authorities will be deducted from the refund amount, as these costs are incurred by the Company upon receipt of the return.
5.4 Return Address
The return shipping address will be provided by the Company in the RMA confirmation email. Customers must not ship returns to the registered company address without specific written authorization, as this may result in the return being refused or significantly delayed.
6. REFUND PROCESSING
6.1 Inspection Upon Receipt
Upon receipt of a returned Product, the Company will conduct a quality inspection within three (3) to five (5) business days to verify that the item meets the return eligibility conditions described in Section 2. The Customer will be notified by email of the outcome of the inspection.
6.2 Approved Refunds
If the return is approved following inspection, the Company will initiate a refund to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds will be processed within seven (7) to ten (10) business days from the date of approval. Please note that the time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your financial institution and may take up to an additional five (5) to ten (10) business days.
6.3 Partial Refunds
The Company reserves the right to issue a partial refund in cases where:
• The returned Product shows signs of wear, use, or minor damage not attributable to a manufacturing defect.
• Original packaging or documentation is missing or damaged.
• The item is returned outside the stated return window but within a period accepted on a discretionary basis by the Company.
In all cases where a partial refund is issued, the Company will communicate the rationale and the deducted amount to the Customer prior to processing.
6.4 Declined Returns
If the returned Product fails the inspection — for example, due to signs of wear, alteration, or damage not consistent with a manufacturing defect — the Company will notify the Customer within two (2) business days of completing the inspection. In this case, the Product will be returned to the Customer at their expense and no refund will be issued. The Customer will be provided with an option to retrieve the item within thirty (30) days of notification, after which the Company may dispose of the item at its discretion.
6.5 Shipping Fees
Original shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable unless the return is due to a confirmed defect, fulfillment error, or transit damage for which the Company bears responsibility.
6.6 Method of Refund
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only. The Company does not issue refunds via bank transfer, cash, or alternative payment methods unless the original payment method is no longer active, in which case the Customer must contact the Company to arrange an alternative.
7. ORDER CANCELLATIONS
7.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled without penalty if the cancellation request is received before the Order has been dispatched. To request a cancellation, contact the Company immediately at hello@guerillajewelry.com with your order number and cancellation request. The Company will confirm whether cancellation is possible within one (1) business day.
If the cancellation is confirmed before dispatch, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method within seven (7) to ten (10) business days.
7.2 Cancellation After Dispatch
Once an Order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. The Customer must wait for delivery and then initiate a return in accordance with this Policy if they no longer wish to keep the item. Return shipping costs in this scenario are the responsibility of the Customer.
7.3 Cancellation of Custom or Personalized Orders
Orders for custom or personalized items — including engraved jewelry — may not be cancelled once production has commenced. The Company will notify the Customer when production has begun. If a cancellation request is submitted before production commences, a full refund will be issued.
8. EU CONSUMER WITHDRAWAL RIGHT
8.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Customers located in the European Union have the statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase contract within fourteen (14) calendar days of receiving the Product, without providing any reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights. This fourteen (14) day withdrawal period applies in addition to and independently of the Company's thirty (30) day return policy.
8.2 How to Exercise the Withdrawal Right
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify the Company within the fourteen (14) day period by sending a clear written statement of your decision to withdraw to guerillachoice@gmail.com. You may use the following model withdrawal statement:
"I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract of sale of the following goods: [describe goods], ordered on [date of order] / received on [date of receipt]. Name of consumer(s): [name]. Address of consumer(s): [address]. Signature of consumer(s) [only if this form is notified on paper]: [signature]. Date: [date]."
8.3 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
• Products that have been made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized (e.g., engraved or custom-sized items).
• Products that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (e.g., earrings removed from sealed packaging).
• Products that have been worn or used after delivery.
8.4 Effects of Withdrawal
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the Company will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (but not any supplementary delivery costs arising from your choice of a different type of delivery), without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after the Company has been informed of your decision to withdraw. Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method used for the initial transaction unless you expressly agree otherwise.
The Customer must return the Product to the Company without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after the withdrawal notification. The Customer bears the direct cost of returning the Product unless the Company has agreed to bear those costs.
9. GIFTED ITEMS AND THIRD-PARTY PURCHASES
If a Product was received as a gift, the recipient may initiate a return or exchange within the thirty (30) day window by contacting the Company at guerillachoice@gmail.com. The recipient must provide the order number (available from the original purchaser) and a description of the item. Refunds for gifted items will be issued as store credit to the recipient unless the original purchaser specifically requests a monetary refund to their original payment method, in which case the original purchaser's written consent is required.
10. FRAUD PREVENTION
The Company actively monitors return requests for patterns consistent with fraudulent activity, including but not limited to return of items not purchased from the Company, return of counterfeit or substituted items, and excessive or repetitive return behavior. Any Customer found to be engaging in fraudulent return activity will have their Account permanently suspended, their Order history flagged, and may be subject to legal action and referral to relevant law enforcement authorities.
11. POLICY CHANGES
The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication of the updated Policy on the Site. The Policy applicable to your Order is the version in effect at the time your Order was placed. Customers are encouraged to review this Policy before each purchase.
