This page describes the payment methods accepted by Guerilla Choice LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") on our website at https://guerillajewelry.com/ (the "Site"), the security standards and technologies used to protect all payment transactions, and the obligations and protections available to Customers in connection with payment processing.

The security of your payment information is a foundational commitment of our business. Guerilla Choice LLC does not directly handle, process, or store your payment card data. All payment processing is delegated exclusively to certified, industry-leading third-party payment processors operating under the highest applicable security standards. This architecture ensures that sensitive financial data never passes through or resides on our own systems.

Changes to available payment methods do not affect orders already placed and confirmed.

1.2 Currency

Prices on the Site are displayed in the currency applicable to the Customer's selected region. Payment is processed in the currency displayed at checkout. Where currency conversion is required (for example, if a Customer selects a currency different from their card's billing currency), the conversion is handled by the Customer's card issuer or payment provider at their applicable exchange rate. Guerilla Choice LLC is not responsible for currency conversion fees or exchange rate differences applied by the Customer's financial institution.

1.3 Payment Timing

Payment is charged to the Customer's selected payment method at the time the order is confirmed. Authorization holds placed by the card issuer prior to final charge capture are outside the Company's control and are a standard banking practice. If an order is subsequently cancelled before fulfillment, any authorization hold will be released within the timeframe determined by the Customer's card issuer, typically three (3) to ten (10) business days.

2. PAYMENT SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE

2.1 PCI DSS Compliance

All payment processing on the Site is handled exclusively by payment processors that are certified as compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). PCI DSS is the global security standard mandated by card networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and others) for all entities that store, process, or transmit cardholder data.

Guerilla Choice LLC operates as a PCI DSS SAQ A (Self-Assessment Questionnaire A) merchant. Under this model, all cardholder data entry and processing occurs exclusively within the secure environments of our certified payment processors. Card data is entered directly into payment processor-hosted fields or iframes and is never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on Guerilla Choice LLC's own servers or systems.

2.2 TLS/SSL Encryption

All data transmitted between your browser and the Site is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, version 1.2 or higher. TLS encryption ensures that data sent between your device and our servers — including personal information, login credentials, and payment details — cannot be intercepted or read by unauthorized third parties during transmission.

The presence of a valid TLS certificate on the Site is indicated by the padlock icon displayed in your browser's address bar and the "https://" prefix in the Site's URL. Customers are advised not to proceed with payment on any website that does not display these security indicators.

2.3 Tokenization

Payment processors used by Guerilla Choice LLC employ tokenization technology to protect card data. Tokenization replaces your actual card number (Primary Account Number, or PAN) with a randomly generated, non-sensitive token that is used to reference the transaction. This token has no value outside the specific payment system and cannot be used to reconstruct your original card data. As a result, even in the event of a data breach affecting our systems, your card number remains protected.

2.4 3D Secure Authentication

Where required by the Customer's card issuer or mandated by applicable regulation — including the European Union's Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements under the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) — transactions on the Site may be subject to 3D Secure (3DS) authentication. 3D Secure is an additional security layer that requires the Customer to verify their identity with their card issuer (for example, via a one-time passcode sent by SMS, biometric authentication, or a bank app confirmation) before the transaction is authorized.

3D Secure authentication is managed between the Customer and their card issuer. Guerilla Choice LLC does not receive or store any authentication credentials or one-time codes used in this process.

2.5 Fraud Detection and Prevention

Guerilla Choice LLC and its payment processors employ automated fraud detection systems that analyze transaction signals in real time to identify and prevent potentially fraudulent activity. These systems may flag transactions for additional review or decline transactions that meet defined risk thresholds. Fraud screening is conducted to protect both Customers and the Company from unauthorized use of payment instruments.

If your transaction is declined due to fraud screening and you believe this is in error, please contact your card issuer directly. You may also contact us at hello@guerillajewelry.com for assistance.

2.6 No Storage of Full Card Data

Guerilla Choice LLC does not at any time store, log, or have access to your full payment card number (PAN), card verification value (CVV/CVC), or card expiration date. These details are entered directly into the secure hosted payment environment provided by our certified payment processors and are processed entirely within their PCI DSS-compliant infrastructure. Our internal systems receive only a tokenized reference and masked card details (for example, the last four digits of your card number) for order administration purposes.

4. BUY NOW, PAY LATER (BNPL) — KLARNA

4.1 How Klarna Works

Guerilla Choice LLC offers Klarna's Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) options as a payment method at checkout where available. Klarna allows eligible Customers to spread the cost of a purchase over time or defer payment to a later date. Klarna's payment options are subject to Klarna's own eligibility criteria, credit assessment processes, and terms and conditions.

4.2 Klarna's Role

When a Customer selects a Klarna payment option, Klarna Bank AB becomes the Customer's creditor for the purchase. The Customer's payment obligation for that transaction is owed directly to Klarna, not to Guerilla Choice LLC. Klarna's own terms of service, privacy policy, and credit agreement govern the relationship between the Customer and Klarna.

4.3 Credit Assessment

Klarna may perform a soft or hard credit check as part of its eligibility assessment for deferred payment and installment options. This assessment is conducted by Klarna independently and in accordance with Klarna's own policies. Guerilla Choice LLC does not have access to or influence over Klarna's credit assessment process or decisions.

4.4 Responsibility for Klarna Payments

The Customer's obligation to pay for goods purchased using Klarna options is owed to Klarna. Any disputes regarding Klarna payments, financing terms, or credit agreements should be directed to Klarna's customer service. Guerilla Choice LLC's obligations relate solely to the fulfillment of the order (delivery of goods, returns, warranty), not to the financing arrangement between the Customer and Klarna.

5. FAILED PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT ERRORS

5.1 Payment Decline

If your payment is declined at checkout, your order will not be processed and no charge will be applied to your account. Common reasons for payment decline include:

       Insufficient funds or credit limit.

Card details entered incorrectly (card number, expiry date, or CVV).

The card has not been activated for online or international transactions.

The transaction has been flagged by the card issuer's fraud detection system.

A 3D Secure authentication step was not completed.

The billing address entered does not match the address on file with your card issuer.

If your payment is declined, please check your card details, contact your card issuer to authorize the transaction, or attempt payment using an alternative payment method. For persistent payment issues, contact us at hello@guerillajewelry.com and we will assist where possible.

5.2 Double Charges

In rare cases, a technical error may result in a payment appearing to be charged twice. If you believe you have been double-charged, please contact your card issuer first to confirm whether two separate charges have been applied. If confirmed, contact us at hello@guerillajewelry.com with your order number and bank statement evidence and we will investigate and issue a correction within five (5) to seven (7) business days.

5.3 Authorization Holds

Some card issuers place an authorization hold on your account when an order is placed, which temporarily reserves the transaction amount before final capture. This is a standard banking practice and does not represent a completed charge. If an order is cancelled before fulfillment, the authorization hold will be released by your card issuer within three (3) to ten (10) business days, depending on the issuer's policies.

6. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

6.1 Preferred Resolution Process

If you have a concern about a charge on your account — including charges you do not recognize, amounts you believe are incorrect, or charges for orders you did not receive — we strongly encourage you to contact us directly at hello@guerillajewelry.com before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or payment provider. In most cases, we can resolve payment disputes faster and more efficiently through direct communication than through the formal chargeback process.

6.2 Chargeback Process

A chargeback is a forced reversal of a transaction initiated by the Customer's card issuer. While chargebacks are a legitimate consumer protection mechanism, initiating a chargeback without first contacting the Company may result in delays in resolution, account suspension, and in cases of fraudulent chargebacks, referral for further investigation.

When a chargeback is initiated, Guerilla Choice LLC will respond to the card network with all relevant order documentation, including order confirmation records, shipping and delivery evidence, communications history, and any applicable policy disclosures. The card network's dispute resolution process is binding on both parties.

6.3 Friendly Fraud

Submitting a chargeback for a transaction that was authorized by the Customer, where goods were delivered as described, constitutes fraudulent misrepresentation (commonly known as "friendly fraud"). Guerilla Choice LLC actively disputes all chargebacks it believes to be filed in bad faith and reserves the right to take legal action and to report confirmed instances of friendly fraud to relevant authorities.

7. CUSTOMER PAYMENT SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

While Guerilla Choice LLC takes extensive measures to secure payment transactions on our end, Customers also play an important role in maintaining the security of their payment information. We recommend the following best practices:

Always ensure you are on the official Guerilla Choice website (https://guerillajewelry.com/) before entering payment details. Verify the "https://" prefix and the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.

Never share your full card number, CVV, PIN, or online banking credentials with anyone, including parties claiming to represent Guerilla Choice. We will never ask for this information via email, phone, or chat.

Use a strong, unique password for your Guerilla Choice account and enable two-factor authentication where available.

Regularly review your bank and card statements for unauthorized transactions and report any suspicious activity to your card issuer immediately.

Avoid making purchases from public Wi-Fi networks without using a VPN, as public networks may be subject to interception.

Keep your device's operating system, browser, and security software up to date to protect against malware and phishing attacks.

8. DATA PROTECTION IN PAYMENT PROCESSING

The processing of payment data involves the handling of personal data, including your name, billing address, card details (handled solely by the payment processor), and transaction history. The collection and use of this data is governed by our Privacy Policy, published separately on the Site.

Each payment processor listed in Section 1 operates as an independent data controller for the payment data they process, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable data protection law. For GDPR purposes, Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, and Shopify each operate under their own legal basis for processing payment data, independent of Guerilla Choice LLC's processing activities.

Guerilla Choice LLC does not receive, process, or retain full cardholder data at any point. The personal data we receive in connection with a transaction is limited to: your name, billing address, email address, order details, and a masked payment reference (such as the last four digits of your card number and card type).

9. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Guerilla Choice LLC's payment operations are structured to comply with applicable financial and consumer protection regulations, including:

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS): our merchant setup meets SAQ A requirements through exclusive use of PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processors.

EU Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2): our payment processors support Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) as required for EU-based card transactions.

EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): payment-related personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the data processing agreements in place with each payment processor.

California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA): payment data handling is disclosed in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell payment data to third parties.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC): high-value transactions may be subject to additional verification requirements in accordance with the AML compliance programs maintained by our payment processors.

OFAC Sanctions Compliance: transactions involving sanctioned individuals, entities, or jurisdictions are blocked by our payment processors' built-in compliance screening systems.
