Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: May 11, 2026
Website: https://guerillajewelry.com/
Email: hello@guerillajewelry.com
Guerilla Choice LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to ensuring that our website at https://guerillajewelry.com/ (the "Site") is accessible to the widest possible audience, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that every person, regardless of ability, should be able to browse our product catalog, complete purchases, and access our policies and support resources without unnecessary barriers.
This Accessibility Statement describes our current accessibility posture, the standards we are working toward, known limitations, and the steps we are taking to improve the accessibility of the Site on an ongoing basis. It also explains how to contact us if you encounter an accessibility barrier or require assistance completing a task on the Site.
1. OUR ACCESSIBILITY COMMITMENT
Guerilla Choice LLC is committed to making digital accessibility a priority across all customer-facing channels. We recognize that accessible design benefits all users, not only those with disabilities, and that an inclusive online experience is both a legal obligation in certain jurisdictions and a reflection of our values as a business.
Our accessibility efforts are guided by the following principles:
• Perceivable: Information and interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive, including through alternative formats for non-text content.
• Operable: Interface components and navigation must be operable without requiring interactions that users cannot perform, including full keyboard navigability.
• Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable, including consistent navigation and clear error identification.
• Robust: Content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including current and future assistive technologies.
These principles correspond to the four core principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which form the basis of our accessibility target standard.
2. APPLICABLE STANDARDS AND TARGET CONFORMANCE
2.1 WCAG 2.1 Level AA
Our target conformance level is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard most widely recognized and referenced by accessibility legislation globally, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as interpreted by US federal courts, the EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/2102), the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), and the UK Equality Act 2010.
WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance requires that a website meets all Level A and Level AA success criteria across the four POUR principles (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust) as set out in the WCAG 2.1 specification. We are actively working to meet this standard across all pages and features of the Site.
2.2 Current Conformance Status
The Site is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. Known areas of non-conformance are described in Section 4 of this Statement. We are committed to addressing these gaps through ongoing development and remediation work.
The Site is built on the Shopify e-commerce platform, which provides an underlying technical framework that has its own accessibility properties and limitations. Some accessibility characteristics of the Site are determined by Shopify's platform-level decisions and are outside the direct control of Guerilla Choice LLC. We work within and alongside the Shopify platform to maximize accessibility to the extent possible within that environment.
3. ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES CURRENTLY IMPLEMENTED
The following accessibility features are currently implemented on the Site:
3.1 Visual and Perceptual
• Alternative text (alt text) is applied to product images and key visual content to provide descriptions for users relying on screen readers.
• The Site uses a color palette designed to maintain sufficient contrast between text and background elements in compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
• Text on the Site can be resized up to 200% using standard browser zoom functionality without loss of content or functionality.
• The Site does not use text embedded in images for conveying essential information where a text alternative is not provided.
3.2 Keyboard and Navigation
• Core Site navigation and checkout functions are operable using a standard keyboard without requiring a mouse or touch input.
• Focus indicators are visible for interactive elements to assist keyboard and switch-access users in tracking their position on the page.
• Skip navigation links are provided to allow keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation elements and proceed directly to main content.
3.3 Content Structure
• Pages use a logical heading hierarchy (H1 through H3) to facilitate navigation by screen reader users and to communicate the structure of page content.
• Form fields, including those used during account registration and checkout, are associated with visible labels that are programmatically linked to their respective input fields.
• Error messages in forms are presented in text and are associated with the relevant form field to assist users in identifying and correcting input errors.
3.4 Assistive Technology Compatibility
• The Site is designed to be compatible with commonly used screen reader software, including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, when used with supported browser combinations.
• ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) landmark roles and attributes are used where appropriate to supplement HTML semantics and improve the experience for assistive technology users.
3.5 Multimedia
• Where video content is included on the Site, we aim to provide captions or transcripts. If any video content currently lacks these alternatives, this is noted as a known limitation in Section 4.
4. KNOWN ACCESSIBILITY LIMITATIONS
Despite our efforts, the following known limitations currently exist on the Site. We are actively working to resolve these issues and will update this Statement as improvements are made:
• Certain third-party components integrated into the Site — including payment processor-hosted payment fields (provided by Stripe, PayPal, and Klarna), social media embedded content, and review widgets — are delivered by external providers and may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility within these components is subject to the respective third party's own compliance efforts.
• Some older product images in the catalog may have missing or insufficient alt text descriptions. We are conducting an ongoing audit to identify and remediate these gaps.
• Video content embedded on the Site, including product demonstration and brand videos, may not currently have full captions or text transcripts. We are working to add these for all video content.
• Complex interactive elements, including image carousels and dynamic product option selectors, may not be fully navigable by keyboard in all browser and assistive technology combinations. We are reviewing these components as part of our ongoing remediation program.
• PDF documents linked from the Site, including policy documents, may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We are working to ensure that all policy content is also available in accessible HTML format on the Site.
• The cookie consent management banner may present challenges for some screen reader and keyboard-only users. We are working with our consent management provider to improve the accessibility of this component.
5. ONGOING ACCESSIBILITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
5.1 Accessibility Audits
Guerilla Choice LLC conducts periodic accessibility audits of the Site to identify barriers and track progress against our WCAG 2.1 Level AA target. Audits include both automated testing using accessibility evaluation tools and manual testing with assistive technologies including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
5.2 Remediation Prioritization
Accessibility issues identified through audits, user feedback, or internal review are prioritized based on the severity of the barrier, the number of users likely to be affected, and the technical complexity of the remediation. Issues that prevent users from completing core tasks — including browsing products, adding items to cart, completing checkout, and accessing customer support — are treated as the highest priority.
5.3 Developer Training and Guidelines
The Company's development and design practices incorporate accessibility considerations as a standard component of the build and review process. Any new features, pages, or design changes introduced to the Site are reviewed for accessibility compliance before deployment where feasible.
5.4 Platform Engagement
Guerilla Choice LLC actively monitors accessibility improvements made by Shopify to the underlying e-commerce platform and applies platform updates that improve accessibility as they become available. We also engage with Shopify's merchant accessibility resources and guidelines to ensure our theme and customizations align with platform accessibility best practices.
6. ALTERNATIVE ACCESS AND REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the Site due to a disability or accessibility barrier, we want to assist you. Guerilla Choice LLC is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to ensure that all Customers can access our products and services.
If you are unable to complete a task on the Site — such as browsing products, placing an order, accessing a policy document, or contacting customer support — due to an accessibility barrier, please contact us using the details in Section 8. We will make reasonable efforts to:
• Assist you in completing the task through an alternative means, such as email-based order assistance or telephone support where available.
• Provide policy documents or product information in an alternative accessible format upon request.
• Escalate reported accessibility barriers to our development team for remediation.
We aim to respond to all accessibility assistance requests within three (3) to five (5) business days.
7. LEGAL AND REGULATORY FRAMEWORK
7.1 United States — Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
While the ADA (42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq.) does not explicitly address website accessibility, US federal courts have increasingly interpreted Title III of the ADA — which prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability by places of public accommodation — as applying to commercial websites that offer goods and services to the public. Guerilla Choice LLC is committed to working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance as the recognized standard for ADA website accessibility compliance, in accordance with the Department of Justice's March 2022 guidance on web accessibility and the ADA.
7.2 European Union — European Accessibility Act (EAA)
The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) requires that certain categories of products and services, including e-commerce services offering goods to consumers, meet accessibility requirements based on EN 301 549, which incorporates WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the applicable web content standard. The EAA applies to e-commerce services offered to consumers in EU member states and member state implementing legislation must be transposed by June 28, 2025, with compliance obligations applying to covered services from that date.
As a business offering goods to EU consumers, Guerilla Choice LLC acknowledges the applicability of the EAA framework and is committed to progressing toward full conformance with the applicable accessibility standards.
7.3 United Kingdom — Equality Act 2010
Under the UK Equality Act 2010, service providers - including online retailers - have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that disabled persons are not placed at a substantial disadvantage compared to non-disabled persons in accessing their services. Providing an accessible website is considered part of this duty for commercial websites operating in the UK market.
7.4 Other Jurisdictions
Various other jurisdictions in which Guerilla Choice LLC operates or to which it ships goods may impose accessibility obligations on commercial websites under local disability discrimination, consumer protection, or digital accessibility law. The Company is committed to monitoring and responding to relevant regulatory developments in all markets it serves.
8. FEEDBACK AND ACCESSIBILITY COMPLAINTS

9. STATEMENT REVIEW AND UPDATES
This Accessibility Statement is reviewed and updated at minimum annually, or following significant changes to the Site's structure, technology, or applicable accessibility standards. The "Last Reviewed" date at the top of this document reflects the date of the most recent review.
Updates to this Statement will be published on the Site. Where changes reflect material improvements or newly identified limitations, we may communicate these updates through our standard customer notification channels.
10. TECHNICAL INFORMATION
