A curb chain consists of circular links that interlock and lie flat close together. It is made from oval or round links that are parallel to another and all the same size.
As defined by the FTC, gold-filled items are covered by a layer of at least 10K gold mechanically bonded under heat and pressure to one or more surfaces of a supporting base metal then rolled or drawn to a given thickness. The gold must be at least 1/20 of the total weight.
